Civil Drafter III - Position Summary:Provide expert technical design assistance to customers, ensuring optimal solutions and support for their projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Technical Support:Identify the best product solution for projectsAdvice on installation recommendations and proceduresProvide hydraulic information and advice; help solve on-site problemsDatabase Management:Maintain Technical Services Information database (Dynamics)supply requirements and file maintenanceIdentify areas of improvement and discuss with Department ManagerDesign Services:Provide design servicesSubmittal Packages including plan drawings, details, product information, and written specificationsMaterial take-offs based on project plan set and ACO drawing setsTechnical calculations for product specification Provide materials list for distributors customer service departmentsProject Coordination:Gather, verify and communicate information on projects to the appropriate personnelCollaboration: Works closely with Inside Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolutionAbility to work independently and with a teamCompetencies:Time ManagementAttention to DetailCritical ThinkingTechnical CommunicationAdaptabilityAbility to work individually and collaborativelyEducation and Experience:Educational Background:Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or education combined with experience that provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.Professional Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience in the civil design professionProject experience specifying manufactured stormwater products preferredEssential Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in each essential duty.
