Project Manager Trainee - Building Envelope ConsultingThis is an in-person, Washington-based, part-time training role in the building envelope consulting industry. This role is designed for individuals who are early in their project management journey and are interested in developing the skills needed to grow into a Project Manager I (PM1) role over time.You'll work closely with experienced Project Managers, gaining hands-on exposure to building envelope consulting projects and learning how work moves from site observations to final deliverables.WHAT YOU'LL DO Learn the Project LifecycleSupport active projects from planning through execution by assisting with coordination, documentation, and follow-up tasks.Support Project CoordinationHelp schedule site visits and inspectionsAssist with organizing project files, notes, and photosSupport coordination between internal teams, clients, and contractors Participate in Field WorkAttend site visits to observe conditions, document progress, and learn how consultants evaluate building envelope systems.Build Reporting SkillsAssist with compiling site observationsHelp prepare draft documentation and internal reportsLearn how technical information is translated into clear recommendations Learn Through MentorshipWork under the guidance of experienced Project Managers who will provide direction, feedback, and on-the-job training.WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR• Individuals interested in project management, construction, or building consulting• Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn• Comfortable working in both office and field environments• Strong communication and organizational skills• No prior project management experience requiredThis is a training role, not an independent project management position.GROWTH OPPORTUNITYThis role is intended to prepare individuals for potential advancement into a Project Manager I (PM1) role upon meeting experience, performance, and business-need requirements.
