Support and maintain our diverse fleet of ground support equipment (GSE), including pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, de-ice trucks, Lav/water trucks, stairs, and specialty vehicles. This role focuses on fueling, fluid checks, cleaning, and assisting GSE Technicians, providing hands-on experience with aircraft support equipment. Growth Opportunities: + Gain hands-on experience with diesel, gasoline, and automotive GSE. + Learn preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting. + Opportunity to progress to Level II - Experienced Fleet Technician. **Responsibilities** + Fuel and maintain diesel- and gasoline-powered GSE, including de-ice trucks. + Check and top off fluids, including oil, hydraulics, and coolant. + Assist GSE Technicians with routine maintenance and minor repairs. + Clean equipment cabs, engines, and compartments. + Operate basic GSE under supervision (does not include aircraft de-icing operations). + Report equipment issues promptly and accurately. + Follow all safety and operational procedures. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + Mechanical aptitude or prior automotive/fleet experience (training provided). + Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions (reasonable accommodations considered). + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + Must successfully complete a pre-employment non-DOT drug test and FAA background check. + Valid driver's license required. **Job ID** 2026-22298 **Work Type** On-Site **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is not just another aviation contractor.
