Facilities Technician

Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Asheville, Ohio. Overview The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings. Responsibilities Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 10+ years experience required. Requirements Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Shift M-F, either 8am-5pm or 2pm-11pm#ind123We thank all applicants for their interest.
