Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater InfrastructurePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team, specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement water and wastewater treatment systems including WWTPs, clarifiers, digesters, and aeration basins.Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective solutions for water infrastructure and wastewater infrastructure.Conduct site assessments and manage environmental permitting processes (EPA, DEP, NPDES) for infrastructure projects.Implement process piping specifications and design for efficient operations within treatment facilities.Utilize SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling treatment processes effectively.Evaluate and optimize biological nutrient removal (BNR) systems and UV disinfection systems to enhance treatment efficiency.Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including WWTP, BNR, and sludge management.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and permitting processes (EPA, DEP, NPDES).Experience with SCADA systems and process piping design.Excellent project management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Benefits a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability coverage401(k) with generous company match and profit-sharingPaid time off (vacation and holidays)Performance bonusesProfessional development and training programsRelocation assistance for qualified candidates
