The Manufacturing Test Technician II will be part of a manufacturing team performing electro-mechanical assembly using knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronics systems to install electromechanical components and equipment. The Manufacturing Test Technician II will work in close collaboration with other members of the manufacturing team to ensure a consistently high level of quality and productivity. This position will work onsite at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon and reports to the Manufacturing Manager.Manufacturing Test Technician II Job Duties: Perform electro-mechanical assemblies with or without BKM (Best Known Method) assembly instruction Understand Lean manufacturing process and support implementationAble to read and interpret manufacturing documentation including drawings, schematics, P&ID, BOM (Bill of Material), wiring diagram, and BKMSupport and manage inventory control and workflow managementAssist the manufacturing manager in developing and implementing appropriate systems to measure department efficiencies, product quality, and performancePerform in process inspection as well as final inspectionPerform final system Q.A. on individual assembly work - report any problems per established company manufacturing guidelinesTest and calibrate parts, mechanisms, and sub-assemblies to meet tolerances and specifications for ZincFive productsResponsible for individual station record keeping, cleanliness, and adherence to OSHA and company safety guidelinesTake direction from the direct manager/supervisor to execute production and shipment priorities and resource alignment. Escalate any manufacturing related issues to direct manager/supervisor and seek a short term and long-term solution to all open action items or issuesMonitor production throughput and close out all open production orders based on monthly production planWork directly with shipping logistics and procurement to monitor material shortage issues and escalate immediately to minimize production delays if necessaryPerform focus driven execution without interruption and meet compressed schedule deadlines Requires ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand while exchanging accurate information.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of electromechanical integration and testing Quality inspection, auditing and testing experienceExperience with implementation of corrective action programsProduct or industry-specific experienceStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of manufacturing Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirementsPreferred Experience/Skills:Relevant certifications in Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, Six SigmaAssociate degree in manufacturing, machine technology, electro-mechanical integration Key Competencies:Attention to detailExcellent communication skills - verbal and writtenGood judgmentSolid decision-makingCustomer service orientationTeamwork and collaborationPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work involves sitting, walking, standing, bending, and stooping throughout the workdayAble to climb on a ladder to perform workAbility to wear required face and body PPE to protect against high voltageLifting to 25 poundsRequires close visual acuity and ability to distinguish colorWarehouse and manufacturing environmentsSalary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
