Our specialties at Puffer-Sweiven include: Pressure Management Isolation Valves & Actuation Control Valves & Regulators Process Control & Safety Systems Oil & Gas Automation- fiscal custody metering, controls, and SCADA Reliability Solutions & Services Specialty Pumps & Rotating Equipment Instrumentation Maintenance & Repair Services Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with customers and influence the selection of technology, products and services.Work customers in a consultative capacity to assess customer needs for automation and controls (Remote Terminal Units - RTU's and Flow Computers) in order to outline a recommended course of action that utilizes the products and services represented by Company.Review and assesses customer technical specifications, written and verbal, for the purpose of developing and proposing Company products and service deliverables.Work with the operations and service teams to develop proposals, define a scope of deliverables, define a project strategy and advise on technical elements of solutions implementation.Maintain a high degree of industry knowledge and awareness, including; trends, technology advancement, significant accomplishments by others in the business, state of the competition, significant events related to our business and the customers' businesses.Maintains a high degree of product and application knowledge.Develop and participate in presentations and product demonstrations to Company personnel and customers.Participate in the development and implementation of the Account Plans.Supports efforts to educate customers Company personnel on the industry specific requirements associated represented products and services through solution demos in both new and legacy products.Consult and assist customers in migration efforts to next gen productsSupport occasional on-site commissioning and startup requests.QUALIFICATIONS:Education / Knowledge / Experience:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred.Direct experience working on/selling projects which include:Flow computers, flow measurement and metering.DCS / PLC / SCADA system definition, architecture development and controls configuration.Sizing, specification and selection of measurement instrumentation and final control devices.Prior Sales experience is required.5+ years of direct experience in the oil and gas upstream production and mid-stream processing & transportation industry.Direct experience applying flow computers, instrumentation and control valves to the drilling, production, processing and transportation operations in the oil and gas market.
