Nordfab is hiring 1st Shift Quality Assurance Specialisthours are 6:45am - 3:15pmThis person's primary responsibility will be assuring that products meet internal quality standards and assist in maintaining/auditing the Quality & Environmental Standards. The ideal candidate will have:• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a Plus.• Must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.• Must have Good Attendance.• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.• Must be adept in Microsoft Office.• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, i.e. blueprints.• Must be organized and be able to Multi-task.• Must be able to lift 50 pounds. • Will be responsible for measuring a variety of fabricated parts with tolerances of +/- 1/8". • Will need to initiate corrective actions and work closely with Production and Purchasing to resolve quality issues.
