Hedge Fund Senior Associate

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Hedge Fund Senior Associate to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $110,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Review daily position and cash reconciliations between prime brokers, administrators, and internal systemsSupport the CFO with month-end close processes and preparation of monthly financial reportsCoordinate the preparation and review of NAV packages from the fund administratorCommunicate with third-party service providers including fund administrators, auditors, and brokersEnsure all trades are matched with executing brokers and resolve any discrepancies promptly Requirements: Process and track management company expenses and employee reimbursements accuratelyMaintain general ledger entries and manage vendor payments and invoices efficientlySupport monthly close processes and assist with internal financial reporting and budgetingReview daily compliance with investment guidelines for separately managed accountsAssist in regulatory testing and compliance calendar administration under the Chief Compliance Officer Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field1+ year(s) of experience in fund accounting, operations, or compliancePossess strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems such as QuickBooks or AdventShow working knowledge of investment products including equities, fixed income, and derivativesExhibit strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving REF#51098 #LI-DD1
