Regional Managers report directly to the Vice President of Multifamily for Meritus Property Group. What you'll doOversee and direct day-to-day property operations across assigned portfolio, which includes the direct management of on-site teamsMaximize income and control costs for the propertiesResponsible for the monthly review of financial reporting and budget variance analysis, also overseeing the annual budgeting process with owners and property managersDesign and implement competitive and effective incentive compensation programsDevelop and implement marketing plans across marketsPerform regular site visits to ensure smooth operations and perform physical inspection of propertiesMaintain positive client relationshipsRecruit, train and develop on-site staff for your portfolio alongside human resources and perform disciplinary activities as neededMonitor AR and AP functions for each propertyOther related duties as needed or assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree preferred, industry experience considered6-10 years experience with 1000+ units and scattered site experience preferredExperience managing on-site staff and maintenance teamsKnowledge of applicable real estate, property management and landlord/tenant lawsAbility to work independently, multi-task and adapt to changing priortiesProficiency in Yardi required, other programs including Microsoft, SAP Concur, TenantTech
