Job Position: Materials ProcessorLocation: Columbus, OH Pay Rate: $28.00/hr - $34.00 hour based on experienceShift: 1st shift 8am - 430pmPosition Summary:Materials Processor is responsible for timely breakdown and sorting of metals at the only fully enclosed metal recycling facility in Columbus ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:- Grade and sort metals based on composition, using following equipment:- Schear/Torch/Plasma/Lance Rod/Sledgehammer- Use of bobcats, forklifts, material handler, brickers & bailers, crane- Assess customer deliveries- Record for materials being shipped out- Awareness of safety and environmental risksMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)- 3+ years' experience in scrap yard preferred- Metals experience and knowledge - ferrous v. non-ferrous- Customer service skills- Basic computer skills/data entry- Basic math- Be able to identify different types of metalWhy choose Acloche?At Acloche, we are invested in the success of our employees.
