Section Electrician ME

Underground Electrician Accountabilities:This position will be responsible for the safe and compliant repair and maintenance of underground mining equipment.Diagnose malfunctioning (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) components required in an expeditious manner.Maintain permissibility and repair malfunctioning and down equipment.Lock-out/tag-out equipment at power sources.Maintain records of repair and maintenance activities, preventive maintenance activities and work orders and schedule activities.COs and Tracking CommunicationPerform other duties as required.Requirements:Minimum 2 years UG maintenance experienceAbility to pass an electrical, mechanical and hydraulic testAble to read and interpret complex blueprints and electrical and hydraulic circuits schematics.Know the standard operating procedures for the installation of electrical power distribution boxes and systems.Know the lock-out/tag-out procedures.Know how to energize, de-energize and operate underground equipment.Knowledge of lubrication and service requirements.Know the Safe Job Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, company safety policies, and applicable rules and regulations.Certifications/Licenses:WV Underground Miner's CertificationWV/MSHA Underground Electrical CertificationWork Schedule:Traditional Operations Schedule Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
