Assembly / Paint TechnicianLocation: Royersford, PAPay Rate: $21.23/hourType of Hire: Temporary-to-HireSchedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMPosition SummaryThe Assembly / Paint Technician is responsible for painting, plugging, and assembling pump components in alignment with production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures. This role requires hands-on mechanical ability, the use of pneumatic/electric tools, and the ability to follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) and work instructions. Flexibility to assist in warehousing, inventory, and shipping is also required based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPaint pump components according to quality and productivity standardsClean, maintain, and properly use painting equipment (training provided)Assemble pumps and components using hand tools, fixtures, and jigsPerform basic plugging and component prep operationsRead and follow BOMs, work instructions, and assembly drawingsPackage completed products for shipmentAssist with picking, shipping, receiving, and material handling as neededConduct part inspections and follow quality processesComply with all PPE requirements including respirators (as needed), eye protection, and steel-toe footwearMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspacePerform other tasks as assignedSafely lift up to 50 lbsQualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperienceHands-on experience assembling, building, or troubleshooting mechanical equipment, engines, or motors is highly beneficialSkillsSolid mechanical aptitude and hand-tool proficiencyCooperative, team-oriented mentalityAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsEffective communication across departmentsWorking ConditionsTypical manufacturing environment with fluctuating temperaturesFrequent use of pneumatic and electric toolsPhysical activity including lifting, bending, and material handlingPeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
