We are seeking an Production cook who will be energetic to help build and maintain our off-premise delivery service of "drop off" catering to business and residential clients. Position Overview Two Unique Catering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and menu components that support both business-to-business catering and private event catering. Our events vary in size, guest count, and service style, including interactive stations, small plates, and seated dinners-requiring a prep cook who is organized, efficient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, event-driven kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare ingredients and menu components according to company recipes and production standards * Support production for corporate and private event catering menus * Maintain consistency and quality across all food preparation * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols * Always maintain a clean and organized workstation * Assist culinary team members with daily prep lists and production goals * Accurately label, store, and rotate food products according to food safety standards * Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen leadership regarding production needs * Adapt to changing production demands based on event schedules and business needs Skills, Knowledge & Expertise * Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience required * Strong knife skills and foundational culinary techniques * Well-rounded knowledge of food products, ingredients, and preparation methods * Excellent time management and organization skills * Ability to follow recipes and standardized production procedures * Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment Certifications Serve Safe Certification required OR willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment through the company-provided training platform.
