Job Title: Electrical Drafter Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Drafter to join our team in South Florida. You will provide electrical drafting support for industrial projects focused on water and wastewater treatment. Your role will involve drafting electrical distribution and controls, and occasionally supporting HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and conveyance. Responsibilities * Develop CAD drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects. * Set up drawings according to established CAD standards. * Coordinate with the CAD requirements of clients. * Draft electrical drawings including electrical distribution and controls for water and wastewater projects. * Conduct field validation of the drawings. Essential Skills * 2+ years of electrical drafting experience with AutoCAD MEP. * Experience with Revit is highly preferred. * Working knowledge of CAD standards and practices. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in mechanical drafting and design. * Experience with plumbing design. * Proficiency in HVAC design. The Ft. Lauderdale office, part of a 50-person company with locations in Detroit, Indianapolis, and Cleveland, currently has 6 employees and is experiencing rapid growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
