Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPosition Summary: As an L&S Trainee, you will learn plumbing, electrical, and HVAC skills from industry experts to ensure successful installations. You will support superintendents in preparing houses for trade stage completions and participate in our in-house development program. This program is designed to give you the skills needed to advance into a multi-trade superintendent or service technician role. The ideal candidate is driven, deadline-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist assigned superintendent in preparing trade stage completion.Transport materials to job sites across multiple areas.Complete punch items assigned by the superintendent. Read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing, electrical and HVAC installations and layouts.At the end of each stage, perform detailed walkthroughs to assess if installs are done correctly and meet standards and generate an initial list for superintendents to be aware of the status of installation. Identify common issues with trade stage installations and inform the superintendent or make necessary adjustments and repairs as necessary.Learn and remain up to date with basic codes, regulations and requirements as it applies to each specific neighborhood or municipality. Actively check and respond to electronic communications. Participate in the development program. Primary qualifications Prior experience as a plumbing, electrical or HVAC helper in residential, new construction preferred but not required. Own a reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes-van or truck preferred.Valid driver's license.Plumbing Apprentice License preferred but not required; must be willing and able to obtain it through Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).Electrical Apprentice License and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician Registration preferred but not required; must be willing and able to obtain through Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with little supervision. Driven to grow and open to feedback.
