We provide rewarding and purposeful work.Why This Role MattersThe Material Handling Laborer- Facility Clerk performs physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following: Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or, transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow (WDR Summary 20150).What You Will Do Provide daily facility support, including workspace layout planning and office setup to ensure efficient use of space.Perform office moves, furniture teardown, relocation, and setup of modular workstations and equipment.Respond to employee inquiries regarding facility maintenance issues and coordinate solutions with the Director of Facility Management when needed.Maintain a safe work environment by properly using tools and equipment and following all safety policies and procedures.Promote a positive team environment while delivering reliable, high-quality work.Maintain professional conduct in accordance with Didlake policies and procedures.Complete required paperwork, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time.Maintain compliance by completing all required Didlake training.What You Bring Education & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent; experience considered in lieu of education.Skills & AbilitiesPossess the ability to pass a background check and maintain a security clearance as needed.Must possess adequate communication skills including the ability to read, write and understand English and basic correspondenceAbility to recognize and sequence numbers and letters (e.g., read and execute a seating chart).Ability to safely lift and move up to 50lbs independently and up to 100lbs with team assistance.Must possess a valid REAL ID to enter this worksite.Why Join DidlakeMission-driven organization focused on inclusion, quality, and community impact.Supportive, team-oriented workplace that values professionalism and collaboration.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your skills and career.Benefits Health coverage for you and your family through Medical, Dental, and Vision plans401(k) retirement plan with company matchEmployee Assistance Program and Wellness ProgramPaid time-off program that increases with tenurePaid sick leave that begins accruing upon startPaid holidays
