Key ResponsibilitiesInteract with project partners such as clients, contractors and stakeholdersRead and interpret project plans and specificationsThe inspector will report to the project engineers and report on contractor activitiesFollow applicable QA/QC proceduresMeasure, calculate, and determine all quantities of assigned work and/or installed materialsReport any deficiencies in the contractor's work to the Project Engineer or Project ManagerPrepare Daily Inspector's Reports using various software such as Word, AASHTOWare Project (AWP) and Appia Skills, Knowledge and Expertise1 - 7 years of experience in Transportation Construction, Inspection, and Engineering (Preferred but not expected with the entry level)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Microsoft Office Tools, capable in math and writing skills.
