A school district in Saint Paul, MN is seeking seven dedicated Special Education Teachers for contract positions through the 2025-2026 school year. These roles support students across diverse special education needs in a K-12 setting. The contracted teachers will work onsite, providing direct instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental cognitive disabilities, and early childhood special education needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities in various educational settings (Settings 1-4, itinerant, and homebound) Manage caseloads ranging from 4 to 19 students, depending on assignment Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide homebound instruction to students unable to attend school onsite Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Qualifications: Valid Minnesota teaching license in special education Experience working with students with autism, developmental cognitive disabilities, or early childhood special education preferred Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt instructional methods to student needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethical standards Location: Positions are based in multiple schools throughout Saint Paul, MN, including RiverEast Elementary/Secondary, Farnsworth Aerospace Lower and Upper, Global Arts Plus, and other district locations for homebound services.
