Machine Operator III / WelderPay: $23-24/hr. + $1 shift differentialShift: Monday-Thursday (1:45pm to 1:45am); occasional overtime availableDescription:Cannonball Recruiting is seeking at Machine Operator III / Welder position for a metal shop in York, PA.Qualifications:Experience working in a manufacturing environmentStable work history in a metal shop environment; experience with welding, shearing, and metal formingExperience with Robotic Welding machines is idealAbility to work in a non-climate controlled environmentAbility to be able to go back and forth between machine operation and welding dutiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Mechanically inclined; knowledge of and ability to use toolsRead a tape measure and successfully perform general math skillsOperate a forklift; forklift certification or license is a plusAssisting with inventory accuracy; log items made and ensure items are stored and labeled properlyAbility to use cutting machines for bend products; operate the sheer and bender to cut and bend productsAbility to do both machine operation and welding as business needs dictatesBenefits:Health / Dental insuranceLife insurance401k with match up to 4%PTO (2 wks after 1st year, 3 wks after 3 yrs) and 8 Paid HolidaysAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
