ResponsibilitiesChip level and block level spec definitionCircuit architectural design and verificationTransistor-level analog IC circuit design and verificationDirectly conduct or closely supervise the analog circuit layoutConduct design reviews and resolve action items generated as a result of these reviewsAttend design reviews to provide input and guidance to other designersWork with digital designers to interface with and verify analog circuit blockAssist in prototype chip testing to validate analog circuit blocksDevelop and implement a manufacturing test plan for analog circuit blocks; support efficient test program developmentSupport marketing in product definitionSupport product engineering to meet manufacturing/production needsSupport applications engineering to meet customer needsRequirementsMaster's degree or equivalent training in related field and 10+ years of related experience. An advanced degree (e.g., PhD) may reduce the minimum experience required.Experience in the full design flow, from specification to circuit design/verification to prototype testing to high volume production supportExperience in top level verification, integration of IP blocks, LVS, DRC, FILL and tape out experience desirable.Experience designing various analog circuits including voltage regulators, voltage reference generators, analog-to-digital converters, crystal oscillators, and DC-DC convertersExperience with IO and ESD is extremely desirableSolid background in semiconductor physics and signal processingExperience designing subthreshold-biased or ultra-low power analog circuits is extremely desirableExperience with mixed mode simulators and Verilog-ams is extremely desirableExperience working with a team of analog and digital designers in a mixed-signal environmentExperience guiding layout trade-offs for performance and sizeExperience designing analog circuits for testability using special test modes, production trimming, etc.Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
