Design & Creative Production Intern

Reports To: Graphic DesignerDirect Reports: NoneFLSA Status: Exempt (Not eligible for OT) or Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)Employment Type: InternshipCompensation: $17-19/hrPosition Overview: The Design & Creative Production Intern will support the marketing team by assisting with the execution and production of visual assets across digital, social, trade show, and sales enablement channels. This role focuses on design support, asset preparation, and content adaptation, helping increase creative output while maintaining brand standards.Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities that must be completedAssist with the creation, resizing, and formatting of marketing assets for digital, social media, email, and web useSupport trade show and event graphics, including signage, booth assets, and promotional materialsPrepare design files for internal review and production (exports, file organization, versioning)Work from established brand guidelines and templates to ensure visual consistencyCollaborate with the graphic designer and content team on campaign executionAssist with basic image editing, layout adjustments, and asset updatesOther duties as assignedNon-Essential Job Functions: Other responsibilities not required to successfully do the jobSupport light motion graphics or video editing if skills permitAssist with organizing and maintaining creative asset librariesOther duties as assignedTraining: On-the-job training provided, including brand standards, internal tools, and creative workflows.Qualifications: Education & Certifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related fieldExperience:Coursework or hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or CanvaFamiliarity with social media or digital-first design is a plusPortfolio, class projects, or work samples preferredKey Competencies: Key behaviors, attitude or skills needed for the positionStrong attention to detailAbility to take feedback and apply revisionsTime management and organizational skillsCollaborative mindsetCreative problem-solvingPhysical Requirements: Frequently sitting, walking, and computer work for extended periods of timeWorking Conditions: Office environment with standard office equipment.
