Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description This position involves developing mechanical system design packages for gas turbine auxiliary mechanical equipment. The role includes collaborating with outside vendors to fabricate specified equipment and ensuring the equipment packages meet code, contract, and schedule requirements for various projects. Responsibilities + Develop mechanical system design packages for gas turbine auxiliary mechanical equipment. + Collaborate with vendors to ensure equipment fabrication meets project specifications. + Ensure supplied equipment packages comply with codes, contracts, and schedules. + Manage systems such as Heat Exchangers, Fuel Gas Conditioning Equipment, and GT and Auxiliary Enclosures Heating and Ventilation. + Handle Enhanced Cooling Air Equipment, Air Intake Filter House, Exhaust Ducts, and more. Essential Skills + Experience in writing specifications for equipment. + Proficiency in sizing and selecting equipment. + Experience with at least one of the following: Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, or Rotating Equipment. + Mechanical design skills and knowledge of AutoCAD. + Familiarity with oil and gas industry equipment. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. + Minimum of three years of technical experience. + Experience with skid manufacturing, rotating equipment, and/or static equipment with an EPC is preferred. + Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese language skills are beneficial but not mandatory. + Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of technical diagrams and flow-charts. Work Environment The office is located in the Orlando area and serves as the North American headquarters for Plant Engineering. The environment is multi-disciplinary, including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Controls, and project management teams, with roughly 100+ professionals. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Orlando, FL.
