Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description As a Quality Technician, you will spend your day on the production floor performing quality checks and ensuring adherence to quality processes while maintaining proper documentation. Your role will involve minimal lab work, primarily prepping samples to send to third-party testing partners. You are expected to accurately interpret and follow reference documentation, such as specifications and SOPs, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Effective communication of quality-related information, both verbally and in written form, is essential. Responsibilities + Perform quality checks on the production floor. + Ensure adherence to quality processes. + Maintain proper documentation of quality checks. + Prepare samples for third-party testing. + Interpret and follow specifications and SOPs accurately. + Comply with GMPs and GLPs. + Communicate quality-related information effectively both verbally and in writing. Essential Skills + At least 8 months of quality experience (preferred without a degree) or an associate's degree in the sciences with no work experience. + Quality control experience. + Quality assurance knowledge. + Quality inspection skills. + Quality check expertise. + Attention to detail and basic math skills. + Strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Interest in entering a manufacturing/quality setting with potential for upward mobility. Work Environment The work environment is a clean manufacturing setting within a large facility that operates several production lines. You will be required to walk around and pull samples from these lines. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
