In this role, you will ideate, design, and implement algorithms & models, while optimizing for power, memory, and performance. You will be creating and driving motion sensing-related features and interactive technologies that impact over a billion customers. Responsibilities include: Evolving and realizing the technical vision for CoreMotion and working cross-functionality to align on that vision with partner teams Providing clear technical communication and guidance both for the team and leadership Developing and deploying state-of-the-art motion features for low-power, embedded systems **Minimum Qualifications** + You have domain expertise - MS, PhD, or 5+ years experience in mechanical engineering, computer science or related disciplines + You have a track record of success - developed impactful features with a proven track record to optimally prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule + You have a strong product focus & have provided creative solutions that balance technical complexity and user experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience developing for embedded or real-time systems in C/C++ Deep technical knowledge of signal processing, motion estimation and system modeling + Experience with data driven algorithm development using machine learning approaches + Experience developing interfaces between algorithms, software, and firmware + Experience with multi-modal algorithms, including IMU, images, video, and/or audio Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
