Job Position: Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher Supervisor (Full Time/10 Month)Location: School District of the City of YorkPay Rate: 34.00/HourShift: M-F 7:45-3:15Job Details:SOS Group is seeking a Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher Supervisor to support and mentor Assistant Teachers within the Pre-K Counts program. This role ensures high-quality classroom support, strong collaboration with school partners, and compliance with program standards. The ideal candidate brings prior classroom experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to early childhood education.Key Responsibilities:Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to Assistant Teachers.Coordinate early-morning substitute coverage and fill in when needed.Review and approve timesheets, track attendance, and complete required staff documentation.Participate in weekly PLC meetings and bi-weekly leadership meetings.Attend TPOT debriefs and help develop professional growth goals for Assistant Teachers.Collaborate regularly with principals and instructional coaches.Assist with CDA training participation and monitor staff progress.Qualifications:Prior experience in early childhood education.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Work Environment & Requirements:Typical school setting with periods of standing, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Must be able to meet the physical and professional demands of the role.
