Desktop Support

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Northlake, Texas. This contract position involves providing technical assistance and support to ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and specialized systems within a manufacturing environment. The role requires a proactive individual who excels at troubleshooting, customer service, and adapting to a fast-paced workplace. Title: Desktop Support Location: Northlake, Tx Duration: 2-3 months contract Pay: $28-32 per hour Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive hardware and software support for devices such as PCs, laptops, printers, and iPads used in a manufacturing setting. - Manage equipment setups, relocations, and onboarding processes for new users while handling peripheral procurement. - Image and reimage devices efficiently using specialized tools and systems. - Provide technical assistance for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate gear like lab coats, safety shoes, and hair or beard nets when on the production floor. - Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. - Maintain a detailed inventory of devices and peripherals while ensuring timely updates and replacements. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support roles. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook. - Strong understanding of Windows OS and iOS devices, including PCs, laptops, and iPads. - Familiarity with device imaging tools and processes. - Knowledge of Active Directory is helpful, though most tasks are managed by the corporate team. - Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Apple devices.
