Our team of experts in digital publishing, adtech, and performance uniquely positions us in today's marketplace.The OpportunityFirst Media is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Ad Sales Director to source, negotiate, and secure sales partnerships across Social Media Branded Content, Affiliate Marketing, Amazon Sellers, Performance Marketing, and Publisher's Monetization Development. This role is ideal for a self-directed seller with deep brand and agency relationships who thrives on ownership, flexibility, and performance-driven earnings.What You'll DoBusiness Development & SalesSource, pitch, negotiate, and close new brand and agency partnerships across Branded Content, Affiliate Marketing, and Performance MarketingOwn your sales pipeline from prospecting through close, with autonomy over outreach strategy and deal developmentLeverage existing relationships while actively building new connections with brands and agenciesDrive revenue growth by expanding deal size, opening new verticals, and securing repeat businessLead client negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract terms in collaboration with First Media sales leadershipSales Partnerships & Campaign StrategyConceptualize and sell integrated brand partnerships through co-sponsored social videos, product placement, and custom contentDevelop compelling pitch materials and campaign ideas that align brand goals with audience engagement and performance outcomesCollaborate with internal producers, talent, studios, and account management to ensure smooth handoff and successful executionMaintain editorial integrity and brand alignment while meeting sponsor requirementsCollaboration & RepresentationAct as a trusted external representative of First Media in client-facing meetings and negotiationsProvide market feedback and insights to help inform pricing, packaging, and product developmentPartner with internal teams to streamline deal execution and maximize campaign performanceWhat We're Looking ForExperienceDemonstrated experience in multi-platform digital media sales, branded content, and influencer marketing.Proven track record of independently sourcing and closing brand or agency dealsStrong understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising formats, and content-driven marketingExisting and relevant relationships with brands and agenciesSkills & Working StyleHighly self-motivated and comfortable operating as an independent contractorExceptional negotiator with strong communication and presentation skillsStrategic thinker with a bias toward action and resultsOrganized and disciplined in managing pipeline, follow-ups, and deal flowComfortable working remotely with distributed teams and async collaboratioWhy This RoleHigh-earning potential for experienced sellers with an existing book of businessOpportunity to represent a well-established social media company with massive reach and proven content formatsMinimal bureaucracy with strong internal support for production and account managementAbility to focus on what you do best: building relationships and closing deals
