Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Yard Driver | Freight Handler positions.These are the Perks and Benefits to the Yard Driver | Freight Handler opportunity:$20.36/hour Fast start-dateTemp-to-HireBenefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)Paid WeeklyDrivers are required to function as integral team members within the shipping and receiving operations. The role will primarily entail operating commercial vehicles to maneuver and transport trucks and trailers to designated locations. Additionally, drivers will be responsible for the loading and unloading of freight.Key duties and details for Yard Driver | Freight Handler:Operate trucks over 4-tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations locationsOperate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products, materials and equipmentPerform daily required "user maintenance" and provide required reports and inspectionsProvide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickupOperate all Material Handling Equipment (forklift, hand truck), Roll Clamp, etcMaintain all certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs, and Federal Motor Carrier GuidelinesMaintain and protect ALL property in excellent conditionPerform task that are assigned to support and improve the team operationsAssist other areas/departments as neededQualifications for Yard Driver | Freight Handler:High School Diploma or GEDExtended periods of sitting, standing, and operating material handling equipmentAdaptability to work in extreme weather conditions, including both hot and cold environmentsApplicants must be at least 18 years old and successfully pass all pre-employment screeningsMust hold a valid Class A license with Air Brakes endorsement and possess a current medical cardProficient in the safe operation and maintenance of equipmentCapable of making pickups and deliveries in accordance with shipping requirementsPrevious truck driving experience essential with a clean driving recordWillingness to learn to operate all Material Handling EquipmentCompetent in completing commercial vehicle inspectionsMust be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp Ability to lift at least 50 lbsPlease apply by clicking on the link below, then call or textLuttrell Staffing Group at (423) 638-7614.
