Our technology powers seamless returns and exchanges for leading retailers and millions of shoppers.As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience building real-world systems that power our platform. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn modern tools and frameworks used in production environments.This role is ideal for someone who is excited to learn, enjoys solving problems, and wants to apply their academic experience to real-world challenges.Your day to dayContribute to the development of features and improvements across our platform using technologies like TypeScript, React, Golang, Python, and AWSCollaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to bring ideas to lifeParticipate in code reviews, team discussions, and design sessions to learn engineering best practicesWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with guidance from mentorsDebug issues, write tests, and help improve system reliability and performanceLearn how scalable systems are built, including exposure to:APIs and backend servicesFrontend applications (web and mobile)Databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)Cloud infrastructure (AWS, serverless/Lambda)Contribute to one or more of our teams:Logistics / hub softwareConsumer products (Returnista iOS app, Returns Portal)Merchant & location dashboardsWhat you need to bringCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldStrong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, or systems)Experience writing code through:CourseworkPersonal projectsInternships or hackathons (optional, not required)Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, etc.)Interest in full-stack development, backend systems, or frontend applicationsAbility to learn quickly, ask questions, and seek feedbackStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailComfortable working in a collaborative, remote environmentNice to have (but not required)Exposure to modern web frameworks (e.g., React)Familiarity with APIs, databases, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)Experience with projects using:TypeScript / JavaScriptPython or GoSQL or NoSQL databasesInterest in mobile development (iOS/Android)Curiosity about e-commerce, logistics, or sustainabilityWhat you'll get out of itHands-on experience working on production systems used by real customersMentorship from experienced engineersExposure to modern technologies and engineering practicesOpportunity to make a meaningful impact during your internshipA deeper understanding of how software is built and scaled in industry
