**Die Setters Needed** **Location: Mt. Clemens, MI** **Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift** **Pay Rate: $18 to $20** **Our Client in Mt. Clemens, MI is looking for reliable and safety minded people to join their team as a Die Setter.** **Responsibilities:** + Install and set up progressive dies into stamping presses according to job specifications. + Adjust press settings (feed length, shut height, sensors, etc.) for proper operation and quality. + Perform first‑piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy. + Operate presses safely and efficiently while monitoring for defects. + Conduct minor die maintenance (sharpen punches, replace springs, clean components). + Troubleshoot issues related to die performance, material feed, and machine function. + Maintain accurate records: part counts, setup times, maintenance logs. + Follow all safety procedures; report hazards or malfunctions immediately. + Assist with continuous improvement for die setup, tooling efficiency, and production flow. + Perform other duties as needed to support production goals. **We're Looking For:** + Experience with progressive die setup in a stamping environment + Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills + Ability to read and understand technical specifications + Safety‑focused mindset and attention to detail If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
