Fabricating and rebuilding parts for use with equipment and machinery in accordance with prevention and/or to minimize downtime.Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operationsOperate welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.Examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.Troubleshoot and provide necessary repairs.Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Operate hi-lo to move large steel objects when necessary.Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials and notify supervisors.Train other persons on the skills above.Position Qualifications:High School Diploma required1-3 years MIG and TIG welding experienceTechnical training in welding preferredAbility to read blueprintsAbility to operate a hi-lo and obtain licenseAbility to work independently and as a teamProven safety consciousnessSelf-motivatedAttention to detail and accuracyStrong mathematical skillsBe a part of the green movement and join PADNOS today!PADNOS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
