About the RoleThe Legal Intern will support the Legal Department with research, document preparation, and administrative legal tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate/legal operations and offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced professional environment. The intern will work closely with the General Counsel and cross-functional partners to assist with ongoing legal matters and special projects.What will you do?Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and industry-specific compliance mattersAssist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and internal legal documentsSupport document organization, file management, and contract tracking systemsPrepare summaries, memoranda, and reports for internal stakeholdersAssist with compliance audits and policy updatesSupport litigation preparation, including discovery organization and document review (if applicable)Attend internal meetings and take notes on legal discussions as neededProvide general administrative support to the Legal teamLearning OpportunitiesExposure to real-world corporate legal mattersMentorship from experienced legal professionalsHands-on experience with contract review and compliance processesInsight into cross-functional business operationsRequirementsCandidate RequirementsCurrently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Pre-Law, Political Science, Business, or related field) or Juris Doctor (JD) program. (2L preferred)Strong research, analytical, and writing skillsHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesLicenses, Registrations, CertificatesValid state motor vehicle operator's licensePrior internship or work experience in a legal or corporate environmentFamiliarity with legal research toolsLocation & CommitmentsFrequent use of hands and fingers to prod, handle, feel, or reach.Regularly required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
