Skill: Playwright Automation Tester Must Have Technical/Functional Skills: * Proficiency in API testing tools such as PlayWright, Postman, SoapUI, or similar. * Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development. * Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, RestAssured, Selenium for integration with UI testing). Roles & Responsibilities: * Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs, covering functional, performance, security, and reliability aspects. * Test Execution: Execute manual and automated API tests using various tools and frameworks. * Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, collaborating with development teams for resolution. * Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand API specifications and ensure test coverage. * Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs to improve efficiency and regression testing capabilities. * Reporting: Analyze test results and provide clear, concise reports on API quality and performance. * Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities to identify and diagnose API issues. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting findings.
