Paid weekly on Fridays.Shift Differential:Non-Continuous (8-hour): 2nd shift +$1.00/hr, 3rd shift +$1.25/hrContinuous (12-hour): Day shift +$0.35/hr, Night shift +$1.25/hrDifferential applies to employee's home shift.Shifts: Multiple schedules available:12-hour (2-2-3): Days 5:00am-5:30pm / Nights 5:00pm-5:30am (includes every other weekend)8-hour (Mon-Fri): 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm / 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pmBenefits Start: Day 1What We OfferStarting pay $22.28/hr with progression and shift premiums (up to $24.53/hr)Paid vacation, sick time, and 11 paid holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insurance (Day 1)401k with company matchQuarterly bonus opportunity (4% of gross wages)Free employee battery programPPE, uniforms, safety glasses, safety shoes (up to $150 annually), and earplugs provided$1,000 referral bonusRecognition programsJob ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production machinery to support battery packaging and distributionLoad and unload pallets, sort shipping dunnage, and maintain efficient production flowPerform quality checks and record production counts in computer systemsDecorate and label batteries to meet customer specificationsAssist with filling, charging, and final preparation of batteries for shipmentSlide batteries from pallets on to conveyorRemove jumper cables from batteries, sort shipping dunnage, maintain efficient production flow, sort for physical defects, add in-process and final caps, run machines to fill acid into batteries Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards and safety guidelinesAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1+ year manufacturing or warehouse experience preferredAbility to work 8-hour or 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekendsBasic math, reading, and computer skillsComfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing repetitive physical tasksMust be able to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, uniform, and safety boots)U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident status required (no sponsorship available)
