Manufacturing Engineering Resource Programmer IV /- 2nd Shift /(MTC/) Description We are pioneers/. We were the first to break the sound barrier and to design the first functional jetpack/. Summary of Work Performed: Under the general supervision of a supervisor or an employee of equal or higher rank, Mfg/. Eng/. Resource Programmer IV will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for effective design of manufacturing resources including: Computer Aided Manufacturing /(CAM/) numerical controlled /(NC/) programs, Manufacturing Computer Aided Design /(MCAD/) tools/fixtures, loft patterns, and operational models with associated 2D drawings/. Must have knowledge of shop production and processing operations/. Work in accordance with management strategies and concepts as well as program and departmental processes and procedures using Bell Business Systems/. May direct, mentor and train one or more employees/. Work Performed: + Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings,Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, BellProcess Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assignedwork/. + Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing processplanning sequences as required/. + Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD modelswith 2D drawings exist as required/. + Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturingoperations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs/. + Executes creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions forNumerical Controlled equipment/. + Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flatpatterns and associated digital tooling programs/. + Working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, + Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures/. + Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances/. + Supports producibility assessments when requested/. + Maintains records and schedules of work assigned/. + Will meet established companycost control standards, schedule and quality requirements to maintain marketcompetitiveness/. + Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined bymanagement/. + Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required tocommunicate and interact between internal and external customers/. + Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct,instruct, mentor and check/validate Production Engineering work/. + Required to attend training and complete competency/-based testing as required bymanagement to remain current with technological advancements/. Qualifications Educational Requirements: + Four /(4/) years college or eight /(8/) years of experience in the aircraft industry/. Demonstratedcapability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to theapplication of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances/. + Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written/. + This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations /(ITAR/)/.
