The Maintenance Inventory Specialist plays a key role in keeping maintenance operations running smoothly by ensuring parts and materials are available, organized, and accurately tracked. This role offers ownership, consistency, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced mechanics and supervisors while directly supporting plant reliability and productivity.SummaryThe Maintenance Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing all maintenance inventory and supporting maintenance operations through accurate receiving, tracking, storage, and issuing of parts and materials. This position works closely with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Technicians to ensure parts are available when needed and inventory systems are maintained accurately within the CMMS.ResponsibilitiesManage all maintenance inventory including receiving, storage, tracking, and issuing of parts and materials using the CMMS systemEnsure accurate inventory records through proper receiving procedures, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepanciesSupport maintenance operations by building work order parts kits, staging materials, and tracking parts statusCoordinate parts research, vendor repairs, returns, overages, and warranty items as neededIssue parts and tools to maintenance personnel and maintain proper sign-in and sign-out controlsMaintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the maintenance inventory areaCoordinate with maintenance leadership and ATMI personnel to support scheduling and repair activitiesPerform other duties as assignedRequirements High school or trade school diploma requiredAbility to read, write, and speak English; Spanish preferredComputer proficiency required; ERP or CMMS experience preferredForklift operation experience preferred or willingness to be trainedStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independentlyEnvironment and Physical RequirementsManufacturing plant environmentAbility to lift and move objects up to 50 lbsStanding, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workdayExposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures typical of a production facility
