Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Diagnose and repair complex mechanical failures on production and facility equipment, including gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, presses, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems Perform precision mechanical work such as shaft alignment, bearing installation, balancing, and tolerance-critical repairs Lead major equipment overhauls, shutdowns, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repairs Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions Develop, revise, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures Accurately document work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities in the CMMS Job Requirements Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems Perform welding and basic fabrication as applicable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and hand movements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience with grinding, finishing, or manufacturing equipment is a plus, but not required Minimum of 5-8 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Additional InformationPAY RATE: $26.00 per hourThe pay rate ranges from $26.00-$85.00 SCHEDULE: 1st shift 7:00 AM-3:30 pm (OT available & mandatory Saturday 6:00 am- 12:00 PM)Meet Your RecruiterSanta Fe Springs Branch 562-941-3091 santafesprings@ Pirate Staffing does not discriminate against any applicant or personnel because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, genetic information or any other status protected by law.
