Come Join the Winning Team!Carpenter & Paterson Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Utility Tech/Laborer to work out of one of our offices in Donora, PA. The Utility Staff are responsible for operating and maintaining the hydraulic and/or mechanical press equipment, industrial saws, and other fabrication machinery as needed.Essential Duties:Operate equipment in accordance with the work order. Select the proper template and materials for the work order. Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets. Assist in other departments when downtime occurs. Maintain quality standards. Keep work area clean and orderly. Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment. Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.Days/Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pmIdeal Candidate:Candidates must be able to read a tape measure quickly and accurately in order to keep scrap at a minimum. Have exceptional attention to detail. Strong focus on safety and quality; team player mentality a must. Have ability to apply computer software skills, ability to learn applications quickly. Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers. Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
