Welder / Machine Operator - 2nd Shift (Mon Fri 2:30pm - 11pm) Posting Start Date: 3/27/26 **At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.** ​ Job Description: **Job Overview** Produce products in a timely and efficient manner to produce products for the customers. **Job Requirements** + Fabricates and assembles products using MIG and TIG techniques. + Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead. + Effectively monitor production equipment. + Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints. + Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM. + Inspect pieces/parts and ensure they conform to specification and industry standards. + Operate air and power tools, as needed. + Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gages, gage pins and tape measure. + Work closely with the Quality Department to ensure products meets Company standards. + Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards. + Responsible for following safety rules as well as using safe procedures. + Keeping all tools and supplies in their work area put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized. + Perform other duties as assigned. **What your background should look like** + High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience. + Welding experience or certification required. + Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel. + Read and understand blueprints/drawings. + Mechanical aptitude. + Communicate effectively.
