Job Position: Mechanical TechniciansLocation: Humble, TX 77396Pay Rate: $31.00/hr.Shifts: Day & NightShift 1: Monday-Thursday 5am-5pmShift 2: Monday-Thursday 5pm-5amShift 3: Thursday-Sunday 5am-5pmShift 4: Thursday-Sunday 5pm-5amKey ResponsibilitiesMechanical MaintenanceExecute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance work orders toavoid unexpected equipment downtime.Perform repairs on critical production equipment to ensure operational continuity.Maintain standby equipment in optimal operating condition.Identify mechanical failures and recommend equipment lockout (LOTO) whennecessary to ensure safety.Propose mechanical spare parts required to maintain proper equipment operation.Safety & High-Risk WorkPerform high-risk maintenance tasks (hot work, work at heights, confined spaces,hazardous energy) in strict compliance with safety procedures.Follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations during daily maintenanceactivities.Identify hazards and assess risks prior to executing maintenance tasks.Systems & ReportingRecord and close maintenance work orders in the SAP Maintenance Module.Report shift activities, breakdowns, and relevant findings to the MechanicalMaintenance Coordinator.CoordinationCoordinate daily tasks with the Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator.Respond to mechanical breakdown requests from Production Operators.Support maintenance improvement initiatives as assigned.EducationTechnical degree required in: Industrial Mechanical Maintenance, MechanicalTechnology or a related mechanical fieldEquivalent hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance experience will be considered.ExperienceProven experience performing mechanical maintenance on industrialmachinery.Experience working in manufacturing or heavy industrial environmentspreferred.Experience handling rotating equipment, bearings, and mechanicalcomponents.Technical KnowledgeIndustrial mechanical maintenance proceduresPreventive and corrective maintenance practicesBearing maintenance and lubricationMechanical troubleshootingBasic knowledge of safety procedures (LOTO, confined spaces, hot work)SAP Maintenance Module (preferred)Core CompetenciesProactivity, teamwork, assertive communication, strong safety mindset, and abilityto work under pressure and rotating shifts.
