She/he will lead tax engagement teams on various projects, handle all tax compliance and consulting issues for assigned clients, keep clients abreast of technical tax changes affecting their industry, identify opportunities to cross-sell, look for opportunities to expand tax services, assist with new business development, cultivate and maintain effective relationships with external contacts as well as audit counterparts on mutual audit/tax engagements and will mentor, train and assist a strong group of senior and staff associates.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBS degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related fieldCPA is preferredA minimum of 5 years public accounting experience preparing and reviewing tax returns and advising Companies on their tax strategyPrevious Big 4/National or Regional firm experience preferredProven success training, mentoring and developing staffStrong desire to deliver outstanding client serviceExcellent research, writing, interpersonal and business development skillsAptitude and desire to want to make Partner and grow our Tax Services PracticeABOUT SC&HSC&H is a national consulting and financial services firm, home to people who believe in the power of trusted personal relationships.
