About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team in the GOVCON industry. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will be expected to provide accurate financial information to management, investors, and other stakeholders, and make recommendations for improvement. Your role will be critical in ensuring the financial success of the company. Ideal candidate is well versed in GovCon and CostPoint.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field10+ years of experience in a financial management roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and leadership abilitiesDeltek/CP experiencePreferred Qualifications:CPA or CMA certificationExperience in the Business Services industryExperience with financial software systemsAdvanced Excel skillsMBA or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldResponsibilities:Oversee all financial activities of the company, including accounting, budgeting, and forecastingEnsure compliance with accounting principles and regulationsProvide accurate financial information to management, investors, and other stakeholdersMake recommendations for improvement in financial processes and proceduresManage and develop a team of financial professionalsManage month and year end closing activitiesRecord journal entriesDCAA and GSA Audit supportGSA fee submissionManage fixed assets schedule and record depreciationSkills:As the Controller, you will utilize your strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations to oversee all financial activities of the company. You will use your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to provide accurate financial information to management, investors, and other stakeholders.
