Job DescriptionRockville Technology, LLC. is a family owned, fast-paced machining services and fabrication company focused on creation nonferrous machine parts primarily for the US Aerospace and Defense Industry. The Quality Engineer role is critical to Rockville's business continuity and facilities routine customer audits, supports the maintenance of the quality system and the key licenses and certifications (NADCAP, ISO, AS9100) required to do business in aerospace and defense. The Quality Engineer works directly with customers understanding their specific quality requirements and ensuring delivery of the expected parts and accompanying documentation and quality data. This role must understand the critical customer needs and be able to communicate clearly through direct communication as well as completing any necessary supporting documentation and required notifications. In this role you will:Assist with performing and monitoring of internal auditsGenerate, perform, and monitor supplier auditsAssist with customer quality audits and answer corrective action requests as assignedDevelop and Perform SPCOversee inspections and audits and Inspection Department as assigned by Quality ManagerPrepare First Article's and Inspection methods sheets as assigned by Quality ManagerInvestigate product quality problems and recommends changes or improvementsWork directly with customers, suppliers, and internal personnel to establish consistent inspection techniques and resolve issuesAssist with overseeing the companies Cause and Corrective Action and Preventive Action systemsAbout You:Degree in quality, industrial, mechanical engineering or equivalent10+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar roleASQ certification and ISO Internal Auditor certification preferredDemonstrated execution of PPAP managementExperience coding and using QA software tools and processesStrong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving, and project management skillsAble to work efficiently in a team environment and maintain high confidentialityExcellent organizational and time-management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelMust be a US Citizen.
