Job Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer in Houston, you'll design and improve manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency while keeping costs down and maintaining high product quality. You'll solve technical problems in manufacturing and help implement new processes using Lean Manufacturing principles. Key Responsibilities Technical Duties * Design manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to improve quality and efficiency * Manage the launch of new or updated products * Create and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings * Design, test, and source tools and machinery for manufacturing * Identify and solve production bottlenecks and workflow issues * Prepare facility and equipment layouts using CAD software * Write technical procedures and reports Collaboration * Communicate effectively with all stakeholders * Work with Engineering to ensure BOM accuracy in Windchill system * Collaborate with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams on cost of goods sold * Work with global teams to implement manufacturing best practices Financial Responsibilities * Prepare feasibility studies and cost justifications for projects * Monitor production and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs * Manage expenses within approved budgets Qualifications Required * Bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred) * 5-7+ years of manufacturing experience * Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles in manufacturing * Experience with workshop tools (test ovens, soldering equipment, ESD workstations) * Knowledge of machine design and special manufacturing processes * AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills * Self-motivated with strong leadership skills * Disposition of NCI - non conformance * Hands on problem solving Preferred * Lean Manufacturing experience or Green Belt/Black Belt certification * Oil & Gas manufacturing experience * Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Travel Requirement: Ability to travel up to 10% annually #LI-KP1
