Job DescriptionScrew Machine OperatorShift: 2nd, (4pm-3:05am)Pay: $21-$28/hr. (Based on Experience)As a Screw Machine Operator, you will set up and operate single or multi-spindle lathe-type screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms. You'll be responsible for machining metal bar stock parts to exact specifications and tolerances. Job Description:Read and interpret blueprints and job ordersSet up machine tooling, including collets, cams, gears, bushings, and pushersLoad bar stock and install cutting tools according to work order specsAdjust cutting speeds, feed rates, and machine controlsMonitor machine operations and inspect first-piece and in-process workReplace worn tools and use bench grinders for sharpeningFollow safety policies, OSHA standards, and ISO proceduresPerform basic math for measurements and part inspectionMaintain full-time attendance and support team production goals
