Academic Tutor - Elementary Students

One hour tutoring sessions are offered on-campus during before or after school hours. This part-time position is a highly rewarding role, focused on providing personalized academic support, building confidence, and fostering a positive attitude toward learning. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide focused, individualized instruction and academic support to elementary students across a variety of subjects. Create a positive, patient, and engaging learning atmosphere that motivates students and builds their self-esteem. Provide responsive and clear communication to families regarding scheduling and student progress. Communicate with district teachers and staff when appropriate, to best respond to student needs. QUALIFICATIONS Understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies A genuine enjoyment of working with young children Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to use technology as an instructional tool College degree required Teaching license preferred Previous experience in a tutoring or teaching role is a plus COMPENSATION $35/hour INSURANCE Insurance not provided.
