Accounts Receivable / Billing Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced AR/Billing Manager with a strong accounting foundation and proven leadership capabilities to oversee and optimize the accounts receivable and billing function. This role requires a proactive, process-driven leader who understands the full accounting cycle, including the impact of AR on the general ledger, and who has successfully managed high-volume invoicing environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite, has led teams through operational transformation (including paperless initiatives), and thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments. Role can be open to hybrid once fully acclimated and base is $120k-$160 range varies on level of experience Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable and Billing team Oversee high-volume invoicing processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Ensure proper revenue recognition and alignment with accounting policies Maintain a strong understanding of AR subledger activity and its integration into the General Ledger Perform month-end close responsibilities related to AR, including reconciliations and reporting Drive continuous process improvements, including automation and digitization initiatives Lead companywide efforts to transition to a paperless AR/billing environment Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance to resolve billing discrepancies Develop and monitor KPIs around DSO, aging, collections, and cash application Mentor, coach, and develop AR/Billing team members Ensure internal controls are in place and adhered to Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 5-10+ years of progressive AR/Billing experience Prior management or team leadership experience required- Will manage a team of 20 and revamp team) Strong accounting knowledge with solid understanding of GL impact and reconciliations High-volume invoicing experience Hands-on NetSuite experience required Proven experience implementing process improvements or leading a transition to paperless systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to operate proactively and strategically, not just transactionally What We're Looking For A proactive, solutions-oriented leader Someone who understands the "why" behind the numbers - not just processing transactions A change agent comfortable modernizing and optimizing systems Strong communicator who can collaborate across departments Detail-oriented but able to think at a higher operational level If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
