DescriptionAre you a skilled mechanic with a passion for keeping equipment running at peak performance? Vaughn Industries is currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team at our Carey, OH location. In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of company vehicles and equipment-helping ensure our fleet and tools are always job-ready.Duties will include:Service and repair of all equipment for the company in a timely mannerComplete detailed service records on all equipment Account for expenses on all vehiclesTravel, including emergency road service calls, for company's fleetProperly fuel, load and unload equipment Work with tool control and maintenance in repairing company toolsOther tasks as assigned by managementAbility to troubleshoot equipment and systems to maximize efficiency Using heavy equipment to safely perform repairsExamine and test engines, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems to identify issuesUtilize special tools and software to read diagnostic test results and pinpoint problemsRequirements HS diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years' experience in the service/repair industry working with gas & diesel powered equipment and their allied equipment and systems Willing to work in a shop environment as well as construction jobsites Class A CDL with airbrake and combination endorsements preferred
