Contract Drafter

The Contract Drafter is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing formal documentation of terms and conditions for reinsurance arrangements. Contract Drafter responsibilities: * Prepares draft contracts, endorsements, and other documents for clients and markets. * Researches regulations and other industry requirements impacting reinsurance contracts, as needed. * Discusses contract issues with broker teams. * Facilitates the brokers' negotiation of contract language and liaises with clients and markets, as needed. * Maintains contract and correspondence files, in accordance with corporate guidelines. * Works with contracts administrative staff, brokers, reinsurers and clients to ensure timely execution of reinsurance contracts. * Provides document review, training, and oversight for brokers. * Documents the status and abstracts the content of contracts in the firm's document tracking systems.
